Pulse Jet Bags
For over 100 years, Menardi has manufactured pulse jet filters you can count on. Menardi can meet original OEM specifications for most any filter. We not only manufacture filters, we also provide technical training and other tools which will help determine the correct fabric, finish and create a specification that supports your operational goals. We sell more than just filters, we sell peace of mind.
Pulse Jet Dust Collectors
The pulse jet baghouse was invented and patented by MikroPul in 1956. It was designed to allow more air volume to flow through a given cloth area while cleaning on-line. The compressed air cleaning provided more cleaning energy allowing for higher air:cloth ratios than shaker or reverse air collectors.

Dust is collected on the outside of the bag. During cleaning, the dust is removed by a blast of compressed air injected through a blowpipe over each row of bags via a venturi in the top of each filter bag. This is referred to as on-line cleaning as only one row of bags cleans while the remaining rows continue to collect dust from the source. Pulse jet baghouses use non-woven media filters bags, with the exception of high temperature applications. In this instance, woven/fiberglass media is required.

Reverse Air Bags
Menardi has been in the filtration business for over 100 years. Our technical ability and craftsmanship set us apart from the other bag suppliers. Menardi can replicate most any OEM requirement for Reverse Air filters and create a speciation that is geared towards your specific needs. Give us a call so we can help you reach your operational goals.
Reverse Air Baghouse Dust Collectors
Reverse air collectors were typically used on very large air volume applications (Power Generation, Cement and Steel). The dust is collected on the inside of the bags and is cleaned off-line through both a back flush or air and a mechanical flexing of the bag fabric. Anti-collapse rings sewn into the bags at irregular intervals allow the bag to remain open during cleaning. Reverse Air baghouses use woven and some light weight non-woven media filter bags.

Typical Reverse Air Filter Bag Tension (rule of thumb= 2-2.5#/inch of circumference)
5″ diameter | 35 lbs.
8″ diameter | 50 lbs.
11.5″ diameter | 50 lbs. (Seamless Polyester)
11.5″ diameter | 75 lbs. (Fiberglass)

Truck Socks
These filters go in vacuum trucks that typically hold 60 filters and are 4 5/8″ x 68 1/2″ long. Fit OEM’s like Guzzler and GapVac and Knight.
Shaker and Specialty Bags

Menardi Filters has been manufacturing shaker and specialty bags for decades. We offer a wide variety of fabrics to suit different applications. Let our team of technical directors and knowledgeable sales staff help you reach your operational goals and save you money. Examples include truck socks, dewatering bags, vent socks, & bar 2 bags.

Shaker Baghouse Dust Collectors
Shaker collectors are the oldest version of baghouses and rely on mechanical movement and off-line cleaning to remove the collected dust from the bags. Dust is collected on the inside of the bags and is removed when either the fan is turned off or the compartment damper is closed and the bags shake either side to side or up and down. Shaker baghouses can only clean off-line. Shaker baghouses use woven and some light weight woven media filter bags.
